Important: All other VoiceTrak parameters must be set to Default.
Use Tone/Cadence file: STRATADK.TOS
Notes:
Transfer to fax machine. The tone table includes incoming fax detection. You may
add an "X" type mailbox which transfers to a fax machine. Also add a line to the
VOICE.BAT file which says: 'SET FAX_BOX=xxx' where xxx is mailbox for the fax machine. Not
all fax machines send good CNG tones and will not transfer, but if fax tones are detected,
the call will transfer to the extension specified in the FAX_BOX setting.
The Strata DK series has an excellent voice mail integration featuring quick
disconnect, the ability to forward a station to a mailbox, one touch message retrieval and
many other great features.
Introduction
Program sequence: All programming on this switch starts with the following
on-hook sequence:
*#*#1*2*3<Spkr>
Store sequence: When finished programming a feature, follow this sequence to
store programming:
<Hold><Spkr>##<Hold><Spkr>##<Hold>
Use a programming strip to identify lamps!
DK Programming
Program 10-2: System Assignments (System programming for VoiceTrak)
Sequence for entry:
Following lamps should be on:
- 4 Message lamp extinguished from VoiceTrak
- 6 DTMF signals sent to VoiceTrak shortened to
80 ms.
- 11 Disables DTMF tone return to user &
callers
- <Dial store sequence>
Program 15: CO Line programming
- Program code 0: Returns D tone to VoiceTrak on CO loop drop detection
- Sequence for entry: <Spkr>15
- Depress lamps corresponding to CO lines which
should detect loop drop (all!)
- <Dial store sequence>
- Program code 3: Related. Follow same procedure for Program code 0 above.
Program 31: Station class of service (station programming for VoiceTrak)
Sequence for entry:
- <Spkr>31<Hold><Speaker><First VoiceTrak LPN>*<Last VoiceTrak
LPN>#
- (Note: LPN is Logical Port Number. First LPN is 00, not 01! Count carefully)
The following lamps should be on:
- 4 VM to VM call blocking. Prevents call forwarding during supervised transfers.
- Note that supervised transfers are NOT recommended on this switch because unsupervised
transfers are faster and more efficient. There is no need to use supervised transfers.
- 5 VM Group 1. All VoiceTrak ports should be in
the first VM group.
- 16 Receive VM ID code.
- 17 End to end DTMF in switch. MUST be
programmed to call VoiceTrak and send DTMF from stations.
- 18 Do not allow executive override to VoiceTrak ports under any circumstances
<Dial store sequence>
- (15, 19 & 20 should be on according to Toshiba docs - according to Betty at
Hallmark - with the Toshiba DK96 Analog with PCTU version 2).
Operation Note: DND key
The Toshiba DND key returns a busy tone which is too fast for accurate detection. We
strongly recommend that the DND key be reprogrammed as an 'All Call Forward' to voice mail
key but the labeling remain DND. This will allow the DND key to act as a DND key - sending
all callers to a voice mail box.
