Important: All other VoiceTrak parameters must be set to Default.

Use Tone/Cadence file: PREMIER.ESP

Notes:

MD 110 - See special document for Premier MD110 system. The MD110 requires a special tone & filter file in which the tones are not terminating. Also, an alternate MWL sequence without the hookflash can be used. These alternate strings do not ring the desk set.

Transfer to fax machine. The tone table includes incoming fax detection. You may add an "X" type mailbox which transfers to a fax machine. Also add a line to the VOICE.BAT file which says: 'SET FAX_BOX=xxx' where xxx is mailbox for the fax machine. Not all fax machines send good CNG tones and will not transfer, but if fax tones are detected, the call will transfer to the extension specified in the FAX_BOX setting.

Enhanced in-band signaling options with Premier BC7 software or higher

Turn off Do Not Disturb feature for voice mail ports.

Turn off the Call Forward option for VM ports

Disable camp on tones for voice mail ports

Ring Intercom Always should be on for VM ports

From the Premier programming screen select Hunt Group maintenance

Hunt group to call for Message Retrieval from desk of mailbox holder only

Establish group 6 (Pilot 236) and enter the VoiceTrak positions. (We recommend the last VoiceTrak port not be included in this list. On an 8 port system, enter only the first 7 ports). Dial rule number one should be:

"*",1,

This means that when a station calls hunt group 236, the phone system will call VoiceTrak, dial the star key and the extension number. The mailbox holder will hear "Please enter your password" if a password has been programmed. Note that a speed dial key can be programmed to call the hunt group.

Hunt group destination of Busy/No Answer Forward calls

Establish group 7 (Pilot 237) and enter the VoiceTrak positions. (We recommend the last VoiceTrak port not be included in this list. On an 8 port system, enter only the first 7 ports). Dial rule number two should be:

"#",1,

This means that when a station is forwarded to hunt group 237, the phone system will call VoiceTrak, dial the pound key and the extension number. The caller will hear the personal greeting of the called party. Note that the station must be forwarded Busy/No Answer or All Call forward to group 237 for this to function.

Normal hunt group for calls to Automated Attendant

Direct incoming calls to this group if automated attendant, day or night, will be used. (If the system supports overflow, direct those calls to this hunt group)

Establish group 8 (Pilot 238) and enter the VoiceTrak positions. Dial rules should be blank. When this group is called, the system will answer with the current opening Salutation. (If overflow calls or night calls were directed to the system for Automated Attendant applications, the calls should be directed to THIS group number!)

Also note that mailbox users who wish to check for messages from a phone other than their own phone should dial this number. For example, assume a mailbox holder is in another office and wishes to check for messages. If they press a message retrieval key or dial 236 the Premier will tell VoiceTrak to check for messages in the wrong box. The mailbox holder should dial 238. VoiceTrak will play the opening Salutation. The mailbox holder should then dial "*", their personal mailbox number, then their password.

Hunt group used to Transfer a caller to a specific voice mail box from any system telephone

Establish group 9 (Pilot 239) and enter the VoiceTrak positions. (We recommend the last VoiceTrak port not be included in this list. On an 8 port system, enter only the first 7 ports). Dial rule number one should be:

"#",4,

With the caller on the line and from any station on the system, press <Transfer> and dial 239. The station LCD will prompt for a mailbox number. Enter the desired voicemail box number and hang up. The caller will hear the personal greeting of the mailbox entered. This process will not ring the extension.

System Operation

As a general rule, most phones should be set for "Busy / No Answer Forward" to the voice mail system. Callers can then be transferred to an extension. If the extension is not answered the caller will forward to a personal greeting. To use this feature on a particular extension, forward the phone to hunt group 237 in the Busy/No Answer Forward mode.

Transfer a caller to another mailbox

Press <Transfer> and dial 239. Dial the desired mailbox number. Hang up the phone. The caller will hear the personal greeting for the desired mailbox number.

Retrieve messages from any phone

Dial 238. When VoiceTrak answers, dial "*" and enter your mailbox number. When prompted, enter your password.

Retrieve messages from YOUR phone

(Note that your mailbox number must match your extension number to use this feature)

Dial 236 from YOUR phone only.

Note: It is not necessary to implement all the hunt group features listed in this integration, but all are available if desired.
